Man Utd target Thiago Almada ‘keen on Man City transfer’ in £15million deal

Manchester City are reportedly confident of beating rivals Manchester United to Argentinian starlet Thiago Almada. Pep Guardiola has been chasing the Velez Sarsfeld midfielder for over a year with his stock rising even more over that time.

It is believed that the Spaniard sees Almada as a replacement for David Silva, who will leave the Etihad at the end of this season.

City failed to agree a price for the 19-year-old back then and now reports suggest other teams, including the Red Devils, are keen to swoop in.

But, according to The Sun , the player prefers a move to the current Premier League champions and would like to join them this summer.
