David Silva in 'same bracket' as Thierry Henry and Eric Cantona, says Shearer

Manchester City ace David Silva should be talked bout in the same bracket as Premier League legends like Thierry Henry and Eric Cantona.

That is according to former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer, who says it will be a massive shame if the Spaniard ends his career in England with no fans to watch him.

Silva is set to leave the Etihad at the end of the current campaign after 10 brilliant seasons with at the club. But he may not get the chance to properly say goodbye to his adoring fans due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The mercurial midfielder has dazzled the Premier League over the last decade with some mesmerising performances. And Shearer reckons he is that good that he should be remembered alongside the greats of the league,
