Matalan tackles the cost of living crisis by lowering the cost of family fashion from £7

If, like us, you are feeling the painful pinch of the cost of the living crisis you might be looking for some savvy ways to save money when shopping.

With many retailers being forced to up their prices it certainly feels extravagant to enjoy some retail therapy these days. Value family retailer Matalan who is known for its competitive high street prices has realised that during these hard times, every little helps.

Only this week the brand has proudly announced an investment of £35m to lower the prices of more than 700 products, as it continues to support families with the high cost of living.

We couldn't believe it when they revealed prices are being cut by an average of 15% across lines of everyday family essentials, with some product prices falling by as much as 25%.This includes best-selling womenswear favourites across denim, leisurewear and basics, as well as menswear and childrenswear essentials, including baby items.
