McDonald’s has responded to reports that it's going to reopen its restaurants across the UK after six weeks of closure. The fast food giant took to Facebook - but told fans the wait for a Big Mac is far from over as the coronavirus lockdown goes on.
It has yet to confirm a date – but Irish Farmers Journal understands that they will re-open in a limited capacity in the UK and Ireland in May.
This includes drive-throughs and deliveries, it is reported. In response, the company wrote: "Well, our notifications are going wild tonight – we miss you too.
