Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will struggle to pay for their security bill in the coronavirus crisis as they lose out on a "significant amount" of income, according to a royal expert.
The former senior members of the Royal Family stepped back officially on March 31, and now live in California in the middle of the pandemic.
Their decision to step back means they are free to earn independently. But royal commentator, Omid Scobie said in the Heir Pod podcast it will be hard to cover costs for their security.
The expert said: "They have spent the last few years not earning a living. "As a royal, your expenses are covered but you don't earn a salary.
