Eagle-eyed royal watchers have spotted a subtle message hidden on the corner of baby Archie's birthday story book. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked their son's first birthday on Wednesday by posting a video of Meghan Markle reading to her beaming boy.

With her son in her lap and proud father Harry behind the camera, Meghan sits with Archie while reading a copy of Duck! Rabbit! – one of Archie's favourite books.

The happy scene prompted an outpouring of well wishes from adoring fans, but others in the know were quick to point out the hidden origins of one of the birthday boy's favourite books.
