Apocalyptic scenes emerged as swarms of locusts were recorded flying past a road and wreaking havoc across Africa. The skin-crawling video was captured near the sacred Samburu mountain, known as Ololokwe, in Kenya, when millions of mature locusts appeared and turned the sky black in an instant.
The mass group of insects are seen taking over the sky and blocking the view of the mountain. A truck drives by as the locusts sweep across the motorway and head north to neighbouring country Ethiopia.
