An NHS doctor held his wife's hand and told her "I love you more than anything" in their final goodbye before he died of coronavirus.
Jennifer Lawala, 56, wiped away her husband Eric Labeja-Acellam's tears as paramedics removed the 75-year-old from their home in Oval, south London.
It was the last time they saw each other before the senior consultant, who worked at University Hospital Lewisham, died almost two weeks later in the early hours of March 31.
Fighting back tears, Ms Lawala, who is still battling Covid-19, told Mirror Online: "If God could allow two people to go at the same time, I would want to go with my husband.
