She fell seriously ill with Covid-19 while pregnant and was unable to meet her newborn before she tragically passed away. The healthcare assistant had worked at North Tyneside Hospital since January last year.
Colleagues remembered her with a one minute's silence today, while chief executive of Northumbria Hospitals NHS Trust James Mackey paid tribute in a statement.
