There has been an increase in the number of people with Covid-19 in hospital. Latest figures show that as of this morning, there were 248 patients in hospital with Covid-19, up from 229 yesterday.
Of these, 48 patients are in intensive care units, an increase of five. The latest figures also show that 6.35 million doses of a Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland.
This includes 2.85 million second doses.
