The number of people with Covid-19 in hospital has increased by one to 249. There are 54 patients in intensive care. Yesterday, the Department of Health was notified of 1,496 further cases.

Over 6.46 million doses of vaccine have been administered. More than 90% of adults have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and that almost 83% are now fully vaccinated.

Chairperson of the High Level Task Force on Covid-19 Prof Brian MacCraith said, in a tweet, that over 75% of the eligible population, those 12 years and older, are fully vaccinated now.
