A frontline officer has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to Hamilton police. The service has released few details about the officer but said they had not had contact with anyone in the community since March 12, when it’s believed the officer contracted COVID-19. “The member is doing well and is recovering at home with immediate family,” Hamilton police said in a media release on Tuesday. “The member continues to isolate at home and follow the advice of doctors and Public Health officials.” [ Sign up for our Health IQ newsletter for the latest coronavirus updates ] More to come.
