From sourcing PPE and holding hands with patients while wearing gloves, to thinking about how to protect their own families, life hasn't been easy for hospice workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Emma Dixon is a clinical nurse at St Ann's Hospice, which has sites in Heald Green, Little Hulton and the Neil Cliffe Centre in Wythenshawe Hospital.
The hospice, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, is the oldest outside London. Emma, 43, is a manager but also takes part in daily care for patients on the wards.
There are currently some patients with COVID-19 at the hospice. Here, Emma talks about the challenges and pressures of working through the pandemic.
