After another emotional night on the Coronation Street cobbles saw Paul Foreman consider taking his own life, viewers at home were quick to label one Weatherfield resident, Billy Mayhew, as a complete “hypocrite” after he lambasted his husband for his actions. As regular viewers will know, Paul is battling Motor Neurone Disease, an incurable degenerative disorder that affects his nerves and will ultimately claim his life in the coming weeks as he slowly loses the ability to move, eat, speak and even breathe one his own.
