King Charles is set to be represented by the Prince of Wales at a D-Day event for the first time since he began his treatment for cancer. Appearing on ITV's Lorraine, The Mirror's Royal Editor Russell Myers confirmed that The King is attending the British memorial in Normandy on Thursday morning, 6 June, as part of the D-Day commemorations, but will not be attending the international event with world leaders on Omaha Beach later in the afternoon.
