The lives of nine soap stars will be explored in a new reality series on ITVBe. Drama Queens, which launches this week, is based in Manchester and the North West and follows the lives of female actresses from Britain's biggest soap operas.

Coronation Street star Sacha Parkinson who is best known for her role as Sian Powers is engaged to her long-term boyfriend following a romantic proposal on holiday.The actress, 31 who joined the hit ITV soap back in 2009 took to Instagram on Friday to show off her stunning engagement ring as she announced the happy news. While posting a series of photos from a lavish yacht, thought to have been where the proposal took place, she wrote the caption: "I knew you were likely to take a wife! SCREAMING." As well as this she's actively helping raise awareness of Endometriosis having been diagnosed with the incurable illness in 2018.

Former Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent has opened up on the ‘annoying’ health condition she has developed on a family holiday. The 31 year old actress, who played Sophie Webster on the cobbles for almost 20 years, took to Instagram to seek advice from fans after getting prickly heat while on a sun-soaked cruise.
