Corrie star Brooke Vincent breaks down over 'mum guilt' amid son's illness

Brooke Vincent has opened up about the 'mum guilt' she sometimes feels when leaving her son at home to head to work.The Coronation Street star, who is currently appearing in the ITV reality series Drama Queen, became emotional after her son fell ill while she was heading to a photoshoot.

Brooke, who played the fan-favourite character Sophie Webster from 2004 until 2019, is mum to sons Mexx, four, and two-year-old Monroe, whom she shares with her fiancé footballer Kean Bryan.

In a preview clip of an upcoming Drama Queens episode, Brooke becomes tearful when she receives a call from her mum telling her that one of her sons.

In the video, which has been obtained by The Sun, Brooke is sat in the back of a taxi crying, as she tells the camera: "We just thought it is probably best that I don’t Facetime him, as he’ll be like: ‘mum where are ya?’ and I’m obviously here all day.
