On the approach to the 25th anniversary of his hit Mysterious Girl, Peter Andre has looked back on the whirlwind that was the 90s when he was in his element as a rippling-abbed popstar.
The singer – whose hit song peaked at number two on the UK charts when it was released – recalled being thrown into fame (even having his own doll) and the struggles that came with success.
He told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’ve changed so much as a person since then. You’re hungry to be successful, you want to do everything you can to be accepted. ‘I was going through a lot of anxiety and things I never really had before, so it was a different time. ‘When I reflect back, I was so lucky, but actually, I appreciate it more now and probably more so when I listen to it now
