PHILLIP Schofield's emotional coming-out moment on This Morning was parodied on BBC comedy show Antiviral Wipe last night. Host Charlie Brooker replayed the moment where Holly read out a statement from Phillip calling it a "bizarre ventriloquist act" and put an echo over her voice so it sounded like the thoughts were in his own head.
Charlie narrated: “In a bizarre ventriloquist act Holly Willoughby temporarily identified as Phillip Schofield to announce that they were now identifying as a gay man, which is as 2020 as it gets.” The Black Mirror creator them zoomed into Phil’s face and made it sound like we were hearing his thoughts.
