A 'career criminal' previously described as a 'scourge' on Manchester city centre was given a chance by a judge who said lockdown conditions would reduce his 'temptation' and 'opportunity' to steal.
Michael Conway-Williams, 41, who has committed 180 previous offences, was out thieving again just days after being released from his previous jail sentence, the day after the coronavirus lockdown was imposed.
