MUMBAI : It would take at least 9-12 months for India's retail industry to recover from the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic, according to the Retail Association of India (RAI), an industry body.
On Monday, RAI along with a few industry experts hosted a webinar to discuss the impact of the covid-19 crisis on the Indian retail industry.
Of the players, nearly 20-25% may need an infusion of capital to stay afloat and about 25% of the jobs in the retail industry may get impacted, according to a survey by RAI.
