ROBBIE Williams has slammed backlash against celebrities spending lockdown in their mansions as he opened up about his own family's ongoing health battles.

The 46-year-old star spoke out about his dad's battle with Parkinson's disease, while his wife Ayda's mother is currently fighting cancer in addition to Parkinson's.

Speaking on his new podcast, At Home With the Williamses, the singer snapped: "I feel there has been a lot of attacks on celebrities, people can say: 'Well you are alright in your mansions', yes we are but this is what is happening. "Ayda's mum has got cancer.

My dad has got Parkinson's, and my mum suffers with her mental health, and they are thousands and thousands of miles away. "That cancer's growth is not shrinking no.
