RYAN Thomas has spoken candidly about being a new parent amid the coronavirus lockdown – admitting he is “full of fear and loneliness.” The 35-year-old recently became a dad for the second time when his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh gave birth to their son Roman, but they have been in isolation since.

His family and daughter Scarlett – from a previous relationship – are yet to meet the baby, which has led him to think about other parents in the same situation.

The actor, who is best known for playing Jason Grimshaw on Corrie, has vowed to help those who are struggling and has offered to help people who need any baby supplies.
