Selena Gomez says romance is the last thing on her mind while there’s a global pandemic going on. The singer is releasing a deluxe version of her album Rare to help in the efforts to fight coronavirus.

As well as making a personal donation herself, she shared that from each sale of the album, released on 9 April, one dollar will go towards the Plus1 COVID-19 Relief Fund.

The new version of Rare will also include the tracks Souvenir, She and Boyfriend, and Selena had a few words to say about the latter track.

In a message to fans on Instagram, she explained that she had written the tracks – about the ups and downs in a relationship – long before the coronavirus outbreak began.
