Independiente coach Lucas Pusineri says Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is open to the idea of returning to the club where he first made his name.
Aguero came through the ranks at the Argentine club as a youngster, making 36 appearances and scoring 18 goals for the club before securing a £20m move to Atlético Madrid in 2006.
City's record goal scorer has previously stated that he would be interested in making an emotional homecoming should it be possible.
With Aguero set to enter the final year of his contract this summer amid no indication that he will pen fresh terms at the Etihad Stadium, a move could be on the cards.
