OTTAWA -- Ontario health officials are reporting 79 new cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa on Tuesday. The figure comes from Ontario's daily COVID-19 epidemiologic summary.

Ontario is reporting 821 cases of #COVID19 as over 24,000 tests were completed. Locally, there are 327 new cases in Toronto, 136 in Peel, 64 in York Region and 79 in Ottawa.

Updated local figures from Ottawa Public Health are expected later in the day. TESTING In the past 24 hours, 24,049 tests were performed across Ontario, which is lower than testing previous days.
