The Government has issued new advice around which stores are allowed to reopen and those which are to remain shut as the lockdown has now been eased.
At the start of lockdown 10 weeks ago only essential shops were allowed to stay open which led to a huge demand on supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda.
Discount stores such as Home Bargains and B&M have also been coping with high numbers of customers visiting each day, Liverpool Echo reports.
The lockdown meant all other stores, including the majority on high streets across the UK were ordered to close and have remained shut since March 23.
