The stations will be filled with boxes of Naloxone nasal spray, an overdose reverse drug. There have been over 100 overdose deaths in Camden County this year."The epidemic is still out there, drugs are getting more dangerous and we need to respond as a government," Camden County Commissioners Director Louis Capelli Jr said. Narcan has been administered over 500 times in the first four months of 2023, according to Camden County officials. MOSCOW, Idaho - A judge overseeing the case against Bryan Kohberger, charged with killing four University of Idaho students last fall, is set to hear arguments Friday over a gag order that largely bars attorneys and other parties in the case from speaking with news reporters.A coalition of more than 30 media organizations has challenged the order, saying it violates the Constitution’s guarantees of free speech and a free press, as has a lawyer for one of the victim's families. Family of Hae Min Lee files appeal in Adnan Syed case advocating for victim's rights in court proceedings

WASHINGTON - The family of Hae Min Lee is calling on Maryland's Supreme Court to hear their appeal, saying that while a lower court decision to reinstate the conviction of Adnan Syed in March remedied what they saw as a violation of victim’s rights, there’s one aspect they still feel needs to be addressed. The attorney for Lee’s family filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari in the Supreme Court Thursday. In the petition, Young Lee, the brother of Hae Min Lee, asks the state Supreme Court to rule that victims of crime in Maryland have a right to be heard and challenge evidence in hearings that could vacate convictions, such as the one that reversed the verdict in Syed's 20-year-old case. "The Maryland Declaration of Rights requires that state agents treat crime victims with dignity, respect and sensitivity. That right to dignity means here that Young Lee should have the right to meaningfully participate in a hearing that could potentially vacate a murder conviction.
