People in Stockport are to get extra help if they are struggling to cope with the pressures of the coronavirus lockdown. Three new mental health and emotional wellbeing initiatives have been launched  due to the the Covid-19 pandemic being a ‘particularly stressful and isolating time’ for many people.

With lockdown set to continue for at least another three weeks,  these are intended  to bolster the range of services on officer  by providing further support for both children and adults.

The new initiatives include the following: The Big White Wall  (www.bigwhitewall.com)  –  This provides round-the-clock anonymous support via an online emotional wellbeing and mental health service.
