Tiger King star Joe Exotic has admitted he feels "ashamed" for keeping wild animals locked in cages now he's behind bars himself.
The star of Netflix series Tiger King is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for animal abuse and murder for hire. He was caged after his war with animal rights activist Carole Baskin turned toxic - and now he has spoken from behind bars.
The experience has clearly had an effect on the former zookeeper, real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, who has always defended his right to keep the exotic animals locked up at his home.
