HOLLYWOOD actor Tom Hardy is growing his own vegetables - allowing him to become more self-sufficient during the Coronavirus lockdown.

The tree is subject to a protection order so any work requires planning permission which has been granted by the council. He also needed to submit plans - now approved - because his pad is in a protected conservation area.
A source said: "Tom and wife Charlotte are keen on growing their own vegetables and it’s very clear that they have a passion for home grown.
