Tom Hardy's next CBeebies Bedtime Story episode first look with coronavirus theme

Tom Hardy is returning to CBeebies as part of their Bedtime Story series. The actor, who first appeared on the show in 2016, will read books to the nation's children before they settle down to bed.

He will read Hug Me by Simone Ciraolo tonight at 6:50pm and then read a book a day for the rest of the week until Friday. The first story is about a little cactus that can't hug his family right now so goes in search for someone to hug.

When he introduces the story, Tom, 42, explains that the story will be relatable to a lot of children who can't hug their loved ones right now.

He says: "Hello. I'm Tom. Sometimes, on a day like this, I feel strong and happy. But on other days, I just need somebody to give me a hug. "Tonight's bedtime story is all
