Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is on a collision course with club chief Daniel Levy over what to do with Tanguy Ndombele. It was only last summer when Spurs splashed £55m on the midfielder from Lyon - a record for the club.
However, Ndombele has failed to settle in and has struggled to put any sort of consistency together. In his defence, his season has been fraught with injuries but this only serves to concern Mourinho further.
Indeed, the former Chelsea coach brought this up during one public dressing down. The Special One has been in the market looking for replacements and reports have linked Valencia's Geoffrey Kondogbia to north London.
