Luke Shaw has confirmed that Manchester United players are set to return to training on Wednesday amid special restrictions to prevent the potential spread of coronavirus.

United players are understood to have been given scheduled time-slots to report at the training ground where they will respect social distancing practices.

It is possible that the full United squad could report in stages so the training ground is not overcrowded. Premier League clubs voted unanimously for players to return to training this week and Shaw said the squad are 'excited to be getting back to some normality'.
