Ontario reports 574 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths
COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the provincial total to 580,768.Of the 574 new cases recorded, the data showed 351 were unvaccinated people, 33 were partially vaccinated people, 140 were fully vaccinated people and for 50 people the vaccination status was unknown.According to Tuesday’s report, 104 cases were recorded in Toronto, 80 in Peel Region, 44 in York Region, and 58 in Ottawa.All other local public health units reported fewer than 40 new cases in the provincial report.The provincial death toll now stands at 9,663 as the province reported eight new deaths.

Scottish Government announces 18 deaths and 2,870 covid cases in last 24 hours
Scottish Government has confirmed that 18 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 8,396.The latest figures for Scotland showed that 2,870 new cases had also been identified overnight.There are currently 1,107 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 94 being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 538,819.To date 4,160,835 people have received their first vaccination with 3,813,547 having a second jab. The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon is set to give an update on the pandemic in Scotland during a speech this afternoon.
