A farmer has spoken out about the "crazy" pressures brought on by the coronavirus. While trips to the supermarket are limited, shoppers are looking closer to home for their goods which is driving interest in local produce.

Louise Blundell and Karl Grimshaw run Smithills Open farm, in Bolton, which is usually open to the public and is a popular destination for school trips.

However, since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown, the family have been forced to close parts of the business and are now relying on the sale of their produce - mainly through milk rounds.
