MOSCOW, Idaho - Bryan Kohberger, the criminology Ph.D. student accused of the home invasion murders of four University of Idaho undergrads, has been indicted by a grand jury in Latah County, authorities have confirmed.The superseding indictment means the accused quadruple murderer will not have a chance to attack the evidence used to arrest him at a preliminary hearing that had been scheduled for the week of June 26.

Officers went inside to investigate and as soon as they entered the basement, they say they found an unresponsive man bleeding from the head. Medics were called to the scene and pronounced the man dead once they arrived. MORE HEADLINES Authorities say they found one spent shell casings just a few feet away from the victim's body, but they were not able to locate a weapon. At this point in the investigation, authorities say they do not know of a motive, nor do they have a description of the shooter.

PHILADELPHIA - The Pennsylvania State Police provided updated totals on recent road-rage related shootings, and they're asking for the public's help in investigating and preventing interstate shootings. In the last three years, authorities say there has been an increase in the number of road rage-related shootings on the interstates surrounding Philadelphia. In 2020, Pennsylvania State Police say they investigated only four interstate shootings, but in 2022, that number spiked to 20. Officials say this year is on pace to match or surpass last year's totals with troopers reporting that they've already responded to ten interstate shootings. There have been a total of 40 reported road rage-related shootings since 2020 and of those 40, eight victims were struck by gunfire, according to State Police.

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - A 29-year-old woman accused of using false documents to enroll as a New Jersey high school student and attend some classes over a four-day period will be allowed to enter a pretrial intervention program, a state judge ruled Monday.The woman had pleaded not guilty in March to a charge of providing a false government document. Her lawyer has said she did so because she was lonely and longed to return to her days with friends in school but now realizes she made a mistake.

SEA ISLE, N.J. - City leaders in a Jersey Shore town are cracking down on summertime rowdiness with a new curfew for teens and a late-night ban on backpacks for everyone. Residents in Sea Isle say they are fed up with the issues caused by rowdy teenagers along the Promenade, so starting Monday night, new regulations are in place to hopefully curb some of the beach-town chaos. "Unfortunately, kids are getting out of hand," said one resident. The noise, underage drinking, and the unruly packs of teenagers that flock the shore town are some of the issues that residents say are disrupting people's summer vacations. A citywide curfew prohibits kids under the age of 17 from walking the streets between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. through the summer, with some exceptions.

WASHINGTON - Two staff members were assaulted with a baseball bat at the office of Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly Monday afternoon. Connolly said in a statement that an individual with a baseball bat entered his office and asked for him, before attacking two members of his staff. Police were on the scene Monday afternoon at the congressman's district office at 10680 Main Street in Fairfax, VA, investigating the incident. The two victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The suspect has been identified as Xuan-Kha Tran Pham, 49, of Fairfax.

DEPTFORD TWP, N.J. - Artists at a Gloucester County tattoo studio used their talents to raise money for the family of fallen Deptford Township police officer Robert Shisler. The Convent Tattoo Studio, located on Superior Way in Deptford, raised over $4K by inking 80 people with thin blue line tattoos on Monday. There were 11 designs to choose from, and each tattoo costed $50 with 100% of the proceeds going to the Shisler family. RELATED HEADLINES "We wanted to bring everyone together for something really cool for a great cause, and it just fell into place. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A stroll along the Texas coastline may provide you with sights of sargassum seaweed, but on rare occasions, beachgoers have stumbled upon cargo from a World War II-era shipwreck that continues to occasionally float ashore.Visitors at Mustang Island State Park, outside of Corpus Christi, Texas, are the latest to discover one of the unassuming bales that were washed ashore by the currents of the Gulf of Mexico.A park ranger took to the site’s social media to show off the discovery and to point out that there is always the chance of something more substantial than a seashell or a patch of seaweed on the sand.According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, it is running off the assumption the bale is tied to similar discoveries over the years across the Gulf Coast as well as Central and South America.March 30, 2022: A mass of rubber washed ashore South Texas (Padre Island National Seashore / FOX Weather) Jace Tunnell, a reserve director at the University of Texas’s Marine Science Institute, has studied several of these sightings and previously tied occurrences to an old shipwreck off of Brazil."These are folded rubber mats that have been put together and then wrapped again with a big one.
