The Ministry of health and Family Welfare today issued a revised discharge policy of the Covid-19 patients in order to combat the spread of novel coronavirus cases in the country. According to the new policy, a person having mild infection can be discharged after 10 days of symptom onset and if there is no fever for three days.

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has received an approval from the National Ethics Committee to start the phase-II multi-centre clinical trial of plasma therapy in India, the health ministry said on Friday. Under this project, the ICMR will check the safety and efficacy of convalescent Plasma Therapy for treatment of COVID-19.
