A man told cops 'Greater Manchester Police can f*** off' when he was caught breaching the coronavirus lockdown for the fourth time in five days.
Despite being repeatedly warned by the courts, police spotted Mohammed Boshaala, 23, on Market Street in Manchester city centre following reports of 'trouble', a judge was told.
He was seen speaking to passers-by and 'generally causing a nuisance', according to prosecutor David Morgan. Officers 'tried to engage' with him and explained he wasn't allowed out on the street but the court heard that Boshaala told them: "Greater Manchester Police can f*** off!" He tried to walk away but was arrested when he failed to provide a 'reasonable excuse' for his presence on Market Street.
