A mum is taking to the streets dressed as Where's Wally in an attempt to lift people's spirits amid the coronavirus outbreak.

After the UK was plunged into lockdown nearly three weeks ago, Laura Duff from Whitefield wanted to bring a smile to her housebound neighbours.

She set off along her street with her daughers, two-year-old Erin and nine-month-old Erica, carrying a rainbow flag and playing children's music aloud. "People were coming to their windows and waving at us," said Ms Duff, 37. "It was great." After a few days of doing the same thing, Ms Duff decided to try and spread the joy a little further.

She bought a Where's Wally costume and now uses her hour of exercise each day to pound the streets of Whitefield and Prestwich trying
