Hale previously had two travel companies based on Ashley Road, before the coronavirus pandemic hit and international travel restrictions were imposed.

Omega Travel and Prestbury Travel were both forced to close. Residents were sad to see the long-established family businesses go.

Now a new luxury travel firm is moving into the village. Black Opal Travel opened its doors on Ashley Road this month. The company had only been trading for just over a year when the travel industry was hit hard.
