Accident on NJ Turnpike shuts down northbound lanes overnight

ROBBINSVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Authorities say a Connecticut man was seriously injured and two others were hurt when a car crashed into a disabled vehicle on the New Jersey Turnpike early Sunday morning.According to State Police, the accident happened on the northbound side of the turnpike near Robbinsville Township around 2 a.m.Investigators said a 30-year-old man was outside of his disabled vehicle in the left lane of traffic when both the man and his car were struck by a passing vehicle.NJ State troopers investigate an accident that shut down the northbound lanes of the turnpike overnight.
