Amanda Holden feels like she’s become a Britain’s Got Talent contestant after releasing her first single – and she turned to none other than TV’s most critical voice, Simon Cowell, for feedback. The 49-year-old has just topped the iTunes chart with her debut song, a cover of Over The Rainbow, with proceeds going to NHS Charities Together to help with coronavirus relief efforts.
It was intended to feature on Amanda’s debut album which has now been on hold for the time being due to the health crisis. While we’ve watched Amanda on our screens as a BGT judge for years and caught her in stage productions, it’s surprisingly the first time she’s had a record deal.
