DAVID Beckham, Amanda Holden and Bear Grylls are just some of the many celebrities leading tribute on the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
VE Day commemorates May 8, 1945, when fighting stopped in WWII as the Germans surrendered to the Allies, marking the end of Hitler’s war and sparking celebrations around the globe.
David Beckham shared his appreciation for the brave soldiers and support staff over two Instagram posts, one which featured vintage photos from the era of people celebrating the end of the war.
He wrote: "Today we remember those who were lost and the freedom they won for us on the 75th anniversary of VE Day." The dad-of-four also paid tribute to his grandad with and old photo saying: "A day where we remember #VEDay75 miss you.
