Evidence from the former personal assistant of Johnny Depp's ex-wife Amber Heard can be aired in court, a judge has decided.
Pirates Of The Caribbean star Mr Depp is suing the publisher of The Sun newspaper over an April 2018 article that referred to him as a "wife-beater".
It related to claims by Ms Heard, 34, that Mr Depp, 56, was violent to her – which he denies. Mr Justice Nicol ruled that evidence from Ms Heard's assistant Kate James relating to the actress's alleged consumption of red wine, her impression of Mr Depp, and a claim that Ms Heard provided altered vaccination certificates for the couple's dogs, could be included.
