An keen 66-year-old angler has died after a "row with poachers" as yobs threw rocks at his boat while he was stocking a lake with fish.
Locals reported that three men, who are understood to be elderly brothers, were out on the lake alongside Lullingstone Castle, in Eynsford, Kent, and were pelted with rocks by yobs on the bank.
It is not clear if the victim was actually struck but may have subsequently become ill near the famous 15th century castle. The victim has been named as Charles Hilder and is understood to leave behind his wife Lynne and five grown-up daughters.
