Hearts chief Ann Budge has urged players to repay the generosity of the club, as she admits she's had "no indication" of how the league season will finish.
Our game has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic with clubs hit hard by a lack of matchday revenue. Hearts asked players to cut their salaries in half, before releasing a statement on Friday insisting no-one was facing more than a 30 per cent cut.
Asked about that discrepancy on BBC Sportsound, Budge said: "It's very, very straightforward."It is the job retention scheme that the government has introduced."I did say at the beginning that without any help we were looking at 50 per cent, clearly we've now had the help from this government initiative.
