BBC Strictly's Amy Dowden reveals she was rushed to hospital with fresh health blow
Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has revealed that she was rushed to hospital with a new health blow, just weeks after she finished chemo.The 33 year old was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and has been sharing her journey with her followers online.
Just three weeks after she finished her eighth and final round of chemotherapy, she said she was diagnosed with a blood clot on her lung.
Speaking to her followers in an Instagram video, Amy said: “Unfortunately I've had another nightmare this week. Just seems to be never-ending.
I was rushed to hospital on Monday and it became to our knowledge on Tuesday that I’ve got another blood clot on my lung. “They were really worried that the clot was travelling to my heart or affecting my heart.
