PHILADELPHIA - A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in the back in the head in West Philadelphia. The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of North Wanamaker Street. Police say they found the 40-year-old man suffering from the gunshot wound to the head and he was rushed to a local hospital.

James Blunt in their latest effort to repel protesters who are camped outside of parliament.The demonstrators, who are angry at COVID-19 vaccine mandates, have been blocking the streets of the country’s capital, Wellington, since Tuesday (February 8).Tactics used by the local authorities to try and get rid of the protesters have included turning on the water sprinklers on the lawn where they camped. BOULDER, Colo. - A procession was held Monday evening to honor a fallen police officer who was killed as he responded to a mass shooting at a crowded supermarket in Colorado.The slain officer was identified as Eric Talley, 51, who had been with Boulder police since 2010. Nine other people were killed in the shooting in southern Boulder, whose identities were not disclosed as police were still notifying their family members.Dozens of police and emergency vehicles, their lights flashing, escorted an ambulance carrying the officer from the shooting scene to a funeral home after nightfall.
