BOULDER, Colo. - Authorities are planning to hold a press conference Friday to give an update on the Colorado mass shooting this week at a crowded supermarket that left 10 people dead and sent terrorized shoppers and workers scrambling for safety.Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold and Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty will speak Friday about the next steps in the court process, and crime scene processing, the role of victim advocates and other topics, the department said.The police update comes after roughly 2,000 people gathered Thursday night for a candlelight vigil honoring the victims at King Soopers supermarket.
